This month’s travel topic is Secluded Shores and, to start the month off, I wanted to share a secluded beach in the United Kingdom that I am familiar with: Seilebost Beach, located on the Isle of Lewis and Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. If you’re looking for a secluded beach, then Seilebost Beach, on the remote coast of Harris, is perfect, although, I cannot promise you will have beach weather even if you visit in the height of summer.
This spectacular beach at Yokohama Bay on the leeward side Oahu is my favourite beach on the entire island. I probably shouldn’t even post about it as I think it should be kept a secret.
There’s more to Gran Canaria than Mas Palomas, but you can’t go on vacation on this volcanic island without a visit to this popular tourist attraction. Walk through the huge dunes to get to the white sand beach on a hot afternoon and you’ll start to feel like you’re in the Sahara – I know, because I’ve done just that.
