Destination Specialization

I believe that in order to provide the best service possible when creating an itinerary for my clients in their bucket list destination(s), I need to know as much about each  destination as possible.

While I can’t possibly know all there is to know about every destination on your bucket list, I have specialist training in a few destinations that I have either already personally visited or that are on my bucket list that I think you will want to experience as well.  Below are my Destination Specialization certificates. (The most recent are shown at the top.)

As well as attending weekly webinars, focussed training sessions, and indepth destination courses offered by Tourist Boards, TPI, Virtuoso and/or through my preferred travel partners, I continue to educate myself with my own research. From time to time I add a new destination specialization to expand my offering.

Explora Journeys Certification

Explora Journeys Certification

Explora Journeys Foundations Certification means I am qualified to help anyone looking for transformative ocean travel and exploration in all its forms. I look forward to continuing my education with Explora Journeys and can’t wait for their second ship’s inaugural sailing in 2024.

Air Canada Expert (ACE) 2022 Certificate

Air Canada Expert (ACE) 2022 Certificate

Completed on June 16, 2022, I renewed my Air Canada Expert (ACE) certification which included Air Canada Vacations training. This year we needed to also complete the Aeroplan Expert certification. Together these two training programs enable me to help my clients with flights, vacation packages and receiving and using their Aeroplan rewards.

Quark Expeditions Specialist

Quark Expeditions Specialist

I completed the in-depth PolarPro training by Quark Expeditions in March 2022, and became a Quark Expeditions Specialist. This training equips me with the knowledge and resources to help my clients plan their trips to both Polar regions, including destinations like Greenland, Iceland, Spitsbergen and Canada’s Arctic in the north, and Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands in the south.
